Barry M - Blink Waterproof Precison Eyeliner. review and swatch

Hello all, and happy new year!
So, recently I was in Boots looking for a new eyeliner pen and discovered that Barry M had come out with a new one, and given how much I loved the old wink eyeliner pen I was very exited to find their new skinny precision liner pen!

 As you can see it's got a nice fine point which is great for fine lines.

 It's a good strong black and the product comes easily, I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and haven't noticed it drying out at all (which is a problem i've had with a lot of pen liners!)
you also don't have to apply much pressure so it glides other smoothly without any dragging.

   WARNING! close ups of my eye coming up! (also i'm not very good with eyeliner so it's a little wonky)

kinda blurry, but it's the best I could do with my cameras awful auto-focus!

Overall i'd give this liner a solid 8.5 out of 10!

I'm Back! and Barry M boots exclusive polish - swatches and review.

Hello Lovelies! I'm back after all the house moving chaos (god that took a long time) i'm pretty much settled and getting ready for Christmas (woot!)
I hope you've all been well.

so, onto the good stuff!

Today I went into Boots to get a new felt tip eyeliner (that i'll be reviewing next) and naturally I couldn't resist the polish rack.

This is a polish that's exclusive to boots over the Christmas season. you can buy it for £3.99 or get it for free if you spend £6 or more on Barry M products.
It comes in gold or pink (That's when they had on the shelves at least, I don't know of any other colours)
I got the pink and I've got to say that it's just plain gorgeous! it goes on opaque in just one coat and dries quite fast.

 as you can see it a metallic rose pink with lots of sparkle!

all in all, If you want something quick and easy with lots of sparkle (but not glitter, cause I know a lot of people aren't into that) then this is a good polish for you! i'm not sure how long it'll be around so it might be best to move quick ;)
Oh! and unlike most glitter polishes it also comes off pretty easy with a cotton pad and nail polish remover.

Moved in! (and got the cats back)

so as of yesterday I'm in the new house!
we got the cats out of the cattery today and they've already settled in :)
I'll be posting again in a couple of weeks when we've got a better internet provider sorted (the one we're on now belonged to the last guy that was in the new house, it just hasn't run out yet....but this guy only has a 2 GB a month limit, and we  through that in a day!)

so that's just letting you all know that i'm here safe and there will be new posts going up soon enough :)

Random nail art!

Hi lovelies!

today i'm just posting some random nail art (or specifically blogger is posting this for me cause I don't think i'll have Internets in the new house yet )
doing these  designs I learned 2 things!

1: water marbling is a hell of a lot harder that it looks.
2: owls are pretty in just about any colour!

so first the nails of win!

 and now the rather sad nails of fail.

not happy with these :(

I honestly can't remember what I used for these so we'll call it a day XD
